Twelve's Company is a registered charity based in Devonport, serving the Devonport Community. It was set up in 1985 and has held an invaluable position within the City ever since.
Our mission statement and vision is: "To enable and empower families, individuals and groups to take action on health, education, training and work which improves the quality of personal and community life, physically, mentally and spiritually."
Over the last couple of years we have expanded beyond recognition, and now offer the following services:
FREE PREGNANCY TESTING - 9.30am - 11am, Monday - Friday
FREE COUNSELLING SERVICE - With a fully qualified counsellor in a warm and confidential setting
FREE SEXUAL HEALTH ADVICE - Free Condoms and advice on contraception and STD's
FREE ONE TO ONE SUPPORT - Help to complete forms, write letters or CV's or just listen when you need a friend
FREE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB - Club Splash! Access to the Internet, homework support, reading clubs, 50's retro diner, arts and crafts room, games and much more!
FREE WOMEN'S GROUP - Join "The Devonport Knit Wits" and meet new friends whilst craft-making and drinking tea!
HEALTHY EATING CAFÉ - Great food at a very affordable cost!
OVER 50's LUNCH CLUBS - Twice a week we offer the over 50's a two course-cooked lunch with a drink for just £2.50
BUFFET SERVICE - For all occasions at very competitive prices!
ROOM HIRE - A light, bright, room available for training days, meetings and support groups etc.
TIME BANK - An opportunity to swap skills with neighbours!
THE CURVIES - Support Group for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexuals.
