PLYMOUTH MORRIS MEN
Welcome to the Plymouth Morris Men Website!

On this site you can find out all about us, what we've been up to, and where we will be, month by month, in the summer via the links to our 'Where to see us in...' pages.

You can easily see what's new to the site as the 'What's Happening Next?' and 'News' pages are all updated regularly with details of where to find us in the near future or what we've been up to recently.

This year we are celebrating our 40th Anniversary!

Foreign Trips

Plymouth Morris Men have had a great couple of summer seasons recently, including a trip to Hungary and Serbia in July 2006 and Jersey in May 2007. In August 2009 we went to south-western France for the 50th Annual International Folklore Festival at Montrejeau.

Charity

Each year we make a donation to a charity and have raised over £5,000 over the last 9 years.

On Sunday 21st March 2010 members of Plymouth Morris Men danced their way around the Plymouth Mile course for Sport Relief. So far we have raised over £900 and donations can still be made via the on-line facility via the Sport Relief Donations page, accessible via our 'Related Links' page. Thank you for your support.

Our nominated charity for 2009 and 2010 is the Chestnut Appeal, promoting Prostate Cancer Awareness, and we presented a cheque for £500 to Lesley-Ann Simpson, Charity Manager for the Chestnut Appeal, on Wednesday 17th March 2010 at Citybus Social Club.

More details of our charitable giving can be found on our 'Charitable Donations' page on the left.

Practice Season

We practise every Wednesday evening from October until the end of April at Plymouth Citybus Social Club from 8pm till 10pm. We would be pleased to see any prospective new members.
Drop in and see us!
